Thermo-chemistry simulations with the software CEQCSI [1] on the crucible composition at different depth, coupled with permeability measurements, allow for the identification of four distinct zones of microstructure for a temperature of 1600°C: namely, a mushy / dissolved zone, an impregnated zone saturated with liquid, an unsaturated impregnated zone and an unimpregnated zone (Fig. 2a).
This model, which is implemented in the finite element code ABAQUS, allows us to carry out simulations on an axisymmetric structure representative of a steel ladle.

The heat treatment result of Fei-color jade is shown in Table 5,on the basis of Table 5, it can infer that the heat treatment temperature should be strictly controlled between 480 °C to 580 °C , with the cooling rate of 2 ~ 3°C/min,pure oxygen environment .In order to prevent the crystal structure and the transparency, get the heat treated Fei–color jade.
Conclusions In this paper, the chemistry and mineral composition of the Fei-color Jade were analyzed by the X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction techniques.Meanwile, the heat treatment of the Fei-color jade is studied.
