Advances in Monitoring of Reinforcement Corrosion in Concrete Structures Jin Wu Department of Civil Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing 210016, China wujin@nuaa.edu.cn Keywords: reinforcement corrosion; monitoring; durability; sensor.
It is hoped that the paper will be helpful to the field engineers and laboratory researchers who are monitoring and studying the corrosion of reinforcement in concrete structures.
In practical monitoring, the reinforcement bars and concrete in FBG sensors could be the same as that of practice engineering, and the sensor is attached to the reinforcement in the measured structure, which at most assures the corrosion environment of sensors.

Influence of Temperature on Strength and Elastic Stiffness Behaviours of Ottawa Sand under Triaxial Compression Test Kosit Jariyatatsakorn1,a*, Warat Kongkitkul1,b 1Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand akositabn@outlook.com, bwarat.kon@kmutt.ac.th Keywords: Elastic stiffness, Ottawa sand, Strength, Temperature, Triaxial compression test.
Ottawa sand, widely used in geotechnical engineering research, was selected for these TC tests.
Introduction The investigation of the temperature effects on the behaviour of granular materials is receiving increasing attention due to its significant implications for sustainability in geotechnical engineering [1, 2].
Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the temperature effects on various sand types to better understand and effectively adapt design strategies to improve sustainable engineering.
Ottawa sand is widely adopted in the geotechnical engineering research.

Schwedler Single-layer Ellipsoid Reticulated Shell Static Stability analysis of influencing factors Ru Wang1,a,Linan Xie2,b and Hu Chang3,c 1,2,3College of Civil Engineering,XI ' an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi’an,710055,Shannxi,China awangru@xauat.edu.cn, bxielinan122154@126.com, ccballackh@126.com Keywords: ellipsoid; schwedler; parameter analysis; eigenvalue; ultimate bearing capacity Abstract.
These study results can provide theoretical basis and technical reference for further studying on static stability of schwedler single-layer ellipsoid reticulated shell and engineering practice.
Structure size.Taking into account engineering practical application and single-layer reticulated shell common size on the analysis, long-span is took a fixed value equal to 50m, thus is 2a=50m.
Appropriate increase the section dimension of the members, in order to avoid this situation and ensure engineering construction structure stability of the schwedler single-layer ellipsoid reticulated shell with rise-to-span at about 0.5.
