For a number of chromia and alumina forming high temperature alloys and coatings, recent studies revealed, that in some cases the specimen/component or coating thickness may substantially affect the growth rates of the surface oxides.
In the present paper recent findings concerning the effect of specimen thickness on oxidation kinetics will be illustrated for a number of alumina forming FeCrAlY-base alloys and NiCoCrAlY coatings as well as for chromia forming high-Cr ferritic steels and Ni-base alloys.
Alloy and oxide microstructure and composition were analysed using a number of common analysis methods such as optical metallography, scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM/TEM), laser Raman spectroscopy (LRS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and sputtered neutrals mass spectrometry (SNMS).
This can be explained by a higher density of rapid diffusion paths for oxygen such as oxide grain boundaries and/or, for instance during thermal cycling, micro cracks [3].
As a result, further scale growth proceeds in a similar way as observed for alloy Y, i.e., a Zr-free oxide layer (Fig. 1b) with the same columnar grain structure is formed in the inner part of the scale [3].

The shear angle is predicted to occur at one which the minimum value of the effective Taylor factor determined from the load instability criterion is a minimum and the number of dislocation slip systems is also smallest [6].
There is a good agreement between the experimental findings and the predicted results. 2.2 Characterization of the dynamic cutting system The influence of vibration on the surface roughness machined with a single point tool has been previously studied by a number of researchers [7 - 9].
It uses the surface roughness profiles predicted at a finite number of equally spaced radial sections of the workpiece to construct the surface topography of a diamond turned surface.
The roughness data are determined from the surface roughness profiles predicted at a finite number of equally spaced radial sections on the workpiece as shown in Fig. 4.
Discussions and Conclusions This research presents a multi-scale model is proposed to explain the effect of material induced vibration and the quantitative relation between cutting force and the surface quality from dislocations, grain orientations, cutting tools, machine tools used in the simulation of the nano-3D surface topology in single-point diamond turning.

In other words, the number of distributary channels increases.
The number of the distributary channels along the measuring lines was recorded, and the relationship between the extension distance and the number of distributary channels was constructed, as shown in Fig. 6 b.
The relative number of distributary channels per unit width of the cross section was recorded.
It was found that both the relative number and absolute number of distributary channels increase remarkably with the progradation of the delta.

In the past ten years, China’s total grain output increases with the growth of fertilizer consumption, but the unit fertilizer rate declines with the amount of chemical fertilizer, the reason of this is the serious losses which is caused by low utilization ratio of fertilizer.

The number of atomic displacements created can be estimated by using the TRIM code (Table 1), assuming a displacement energy of 51 and 31 eV per O and Al atoms, respectively [5].
Due to recombination and possible local annealing the number of the remaining defects (C) must be in the low 10 16 cm-3 range or even below that.
Another possible origin of the long-lived component can be the formation of grain boundaries or cracks due to thermoelastic stresses.

The this convex problem can be solved by LARS-Lasso algorithm [8], In this problem, the number of training samples n is usually larger than the relatively small sample dimension m.
Here we construct n dictionaries, the size of n is dependent on the number of bioinformatics, in this paper, we only consider shape, color and texture.
The weight is based on the importance of each atom patch in dictonray, a large weight means the patch is important for the image representation, and a small value means that the atom is less important. Finally, each patch can be represented by Equation 6 (6) Here, n is the number of bioinformatic, in this way, a patch is the product of weighted coefficient.
