The face-to-face flocculation create a system with a more closed structure then in the house-of-card flocculation and this contribute to a collapse and reduction of rheological parameters.
From the data in Table 3 and according to Miano and Rabaioli [6], in the dispersions of Bofe clay treated with Na2CO3 followed by Mg(OH)2 there is a tendency to a face-to-face interaction, while in the dispersion of Chocolate and Verde-lodo clays also treated with Na2CO3 followed by Mg(OH)2 the main types of interaction are face-to-face and/or edge-to-edge.

World iron ore resources are enrich, according to the United States Geological Survey data of 2009,the global iron ore reserve base is 3500 hundred million ton(according to the iron content was calculated to be 1600 hundred million ton ).The global iron ore is abundant, relatively concentrated distribution, the six top iron ore resources are these countries: Ukraine, Russia, China, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Australia, in total global reserves (including iron calculation ) accounted for77.5%.
Thus, flotation column in desulfurization and silicon reduction of iron concentrate plays an important role.
According to the ore property, Gong Changling ore dressing plant has worked with the Changsha Research Institute Of Mining and China Mining University, taken the lead in the domestic launch technology of flotation column research to reverse flotation iron element and silicon reduction for the concentrate of magnetic separation, can obtain high grade iron concentrate which iron grade is 69.15%, the content of Si02 is 4.40%,the recovery of iron is 95.81% ,ideal industrial test of operating parameters is that: the reagent of twelve amine is 160 - 180g/t, roughing cycle slurry pressure is 0.30MPa, slurry concentration is 40%-45%.Using flotation column conduct once rough twice scavenging process, compared with the existing flotation machine which has quintic section roughing quartic concentrating,and roughing middlings return to regrinding process, flotation column simplify the process and realize the short flow separation.

After the immersion test, cleaning specimen and measuring weight reductions were carried out according to ASTM G1 standard. [4].
The long-term immersion data of 24 hours shows that there is no significant difference in the corrosion rate between 6 and 24 hours for ANCOR-S steel.
Corrosion rate calculated by using the surface thickness reduction as a result of field test was measured as 0.07 mm/year for ANCOR-S and 0.14 mm/year for SPHC.
