Introduction The growing application of polymeric materials as structural materials, polyethylene in particular, demands new methodologies for assessing the material capability to withstand loads.
The accurate modelling of fracture and viscoelastic material responses of such structures represents a key to the prediction of structural integrity.

Therefore, the experts at home and abroad have studied on old cement board treatment, interlayer materials, surface layer materials and layer mechanics [1-3].
To sum up, freeze-thaw makes part of interlayer materials damaged, and interlayer binding weakened, which eventually leads to lowering shear strength between layers.
