The physical properties of briquettes in terms of moisture content had 0.952 of R2 value.
The mechanical properties of briquettes in terms of compressive strength had 0.990 of R2 value.
The next step was to test the moisture content and test the compressive strength of the briquettes to determine their best physical and mechanical properties.
The remaining 9.626% of other factors were not discussed in this research.

The setting time was not affected by adding albumin and FBS but was increased by 50% with admixtures containing fibrinogen.
Another explanation for the strength decrease may have been a change in microstructure and therefore crystal entanglement of the precipitated brushite leading to lower mechanical strength as found by Knepper-Nicolai et al. in a study on the effect of osteocalcin on the properties of a hydroxyapatite forming calcium phosphate cement [7].
Protein addition to the liquid phase may have resulted in a lower conversion rate, thereby affecting strength.
Conclusion This study clearly indicated that the inevitable mixing of proteins, protein mixtures or serum even at low concentrations with the calcium phosphate bone cement during use is a crucial factor in determining the setting behaviour and final mechanical strength of such materials and needs to be considered during future development of bone cements.

The indexes studied in experiments were nugget diameter and nugget deviation, which were the primary factors affecting the nugget morphology.
The differences of materials in properties of thickness, electric conductivity and thermal conductivity influence the heat distribution in weld during RSW, which affects the nugget morphology.
Some experimental studies focused on the connections between the nugget diameter, nugget height and mechanical property of weld, and demonstrated the nugget size has a significant effect on mechanical property [5].
Therefore, the thermal effect depends on the three factors, namely welding current, duration of welding current and resistance property of material.
Fig.7 is the impact of process parameters, especially the welding current, affecting on nugget deviation.

Tensile strength test measures the force per unit width of the test and evaluates the changes in tensile strength changes due to factors such as fiber strength, fiber length, and bonding.
The main factors that define paper strength are cellulose fibrils, microfibrillar angle and fiber damage and defects.
Fibers can be deformed to improve paper properties such as changes in fiber network properties but deformation also causes fiber damage.
Disturbances affecting the microstructure and macrostructure of the paper cause the paper to break easily and this can be detected by the mechanical tensile test.
Summary This study examined the relation between the changes in physical and chemical properties during paper biodegradation.

By improving the dissolution, it helps in increasing the mechanical properties [4].
It was reported that both curing time and temperature gives significant impact on the mechanical properties for the common synthesis with silicate solution [5–7].
This is to ensure the heat produced from the reaction is dissipated and to avoid from affecting the geopolymerization process.
This shows that sodium hydroxide can work alone for the improvement of mechanical properties by prolonging the curing time.

But the sun and rain alternating changing environment leads to aging of WPCs, defects such as color change and decreased mechanical properties, which affects appearance, performance and durability[1].
Besides, the existence of water aggravated the fading phenomenon, showing that fading phenomenon is the results of comprehensive effect of different environmental factors [4].
Research conclusions differed on the impact of UV aging on WPCs mechanical properties.
These researches demonstrated that the loss of most mechanical properties of aged composites filled with wood flour was caused by moisture.

Petersburg, 191014, Russia 1sharapova_dm@pers.spmi.ru; 2mikhail_sharapov@mail.ru; 3nischar@mail.ru Keywords: aluminum alloys, properties, mechanical engineering products, electron beam welding Abstract.
The paper also presents the results of mechanical properties testing, the corrosion resistance and the delayed fracture tests.
When the 1560M and 1980T1 alloys are welded together, an increase in hardness is observed in the HAZ from the 1980T1 alloy side, which is due to a significant difference in the physical and mechanical properties of the alloys being welded.
The results of comprehensive studies of mechanical properties, as well as the delayed fracture and corrosion resistance testing of welded joints have confirmed their high quality.

It is not limited to material properties of strength, hardness, toughness, etc.
It can be seen the gas pressure P2 is the primary factor in affecting the experimental index.
Comparing the processed surface layer’s organization in Fig.5 with matrix organization in Fig.6, we can see that the crystalline grain in surface layer has been refined after processing, which could improve the physical and mechanical properties of the surface layer’s organization.
Pit defect is an important factor to affect the quality of the sample surface.
Conclusion In this paper, spring steel used as the experimental material, the gas pressure P2 is the primary influencing factor in the four selected test factors which affect the sample surface roughness values based on the orthogonal experiment design analysis.

It was known from the study that freeze-thaw treatment during membrane fabrication affects several properties of the membrane.
Modification of the crosslink in gelatin brought some consequences on its mechanical properties [4].
Hence, the development of gelatin based scaffold which has good capability in delivering growth factors and fulfills the requirements of good mechanical properties is important and still relevant to study.
In this study, the freeze-thaw treatment has been applied to the gelatin-CHA membrane to improve its mechanical properties.

Drilling is always required in joining two complex parts of FRP composite using mechanical fastening such as screw, rivet and pin joint.
However, this secondary work may affect the strength and life span of the structure due to the anisotropic nature of FRP composite laminate.
