Abstract.
The structures of diarylethene 1a were confirmed by 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3, TMS): δ 2.039 (s, 3H, -CH3), 2.300 (s, 3H, -CH3), 7.250(s, 1H, thiophene-H), 7.769 (s, 1H, phenanthrene-H ), 7.575-7.625 (t, 2H, phenanthrene-H), 7.672-7.692 (t, 2H, phenanthrene-H), 7.878-7.896 (d, 1H, phenanthrene-H), 8.015-8.036 (d, 1H, phenanthrene-H), 8.685-8.706 (d, 1H, phenanthrene-H), 8.748-8.767 (d, 1H, phenanthrene-H), 7.312 (t, 2H, benzofuran -H), 7.462 (d, 1H, benzofuran -H), 7.482 (d, 1H, benzofuran -H).

Some main strong peaks in these spectra agree well with (110), (104), (114), (212), (213) and (216) strong diffraction peaks of ettringite structure and their intensity increase steadily with curing time, which indicate that ettringite crystals are emerged and its quantities growth dramatically during 3-day to 14-day.
