Obtained data could find application in identifying the causes of fires and exact assessment of fire risk not only for materials but also for buildings in which the materials form an important part of the fire risk.
For completeness it should be added that the comprehensive assessment of fire risk of certain materials (e.g. construction materials with static or fire separating function) is necessary to know the change of mechanical properties during fire.
According to [19-20] is an important factor affecting the thermal resistance of wood and wood materials the density of materials.
