Therefore, to improve the toughness and strength of ceramic materials has been an important direction in materials science.
For ceramic materials used at room temperature, metal materials with better strength and toughness can be given as “exoskeleton” of ceramic.
For ceramic materials using at room temperature, toughen to the materials itself can be ignored.
Compared to metal materials, the composite materials reduce weight significantly.
Materials Letters, 2002, 57(2): 518-524

Anti-percolation of concrete materials is a very important technical indicator.
The anti-percolation of polymer materials increases with the increase of the density.

The use of technogenic waste as secondary raw materials in the production of building materials provides the reduction or elimination the negative effects of industrial activity.
Ash and slag wastes are also valuable and cheap material because their use in the manufacture of building materials significantly improves the operational and mechanical properties of these materials.

Significance of Skin and Hyperelastic Materials Study.
Furthermore, the application of hyperelastic materials has been expanded in several industrial areas such as absorbers, hydraulic hoses, vehicles tires and etc. [25].
Despite tensile testing, there are other materials testing methods being used to evaluate the skin’s properties such as suction, compression [13], and indentation [14].
The optimization of FEM’s parameters and boundaries can create close correlation with the experimental data and therefore lead to the identification of materials parameters.

For materials and design, it is the blending of arts’ elements and science that make it work [10].
Most of the buildings in Fig. 4 were devised before the science of stress analysis had developed, but even without it, the designer was capable of visualizing the forces and the relationship between the forces, materials, and form.
