For different geotechnical materials, due to the different internal composition particles, the expression of properties in the engineering is quite different, and its particle size distribution with fractal features to some extent.
TH backfill is similar to all kinds of concrete and rock materials, the fractal characteristics of the particle composition have its particularity.
In the aspect of mine backfill, the studies of literature [10-11] for the mechanical strength of the filling materials and distribution has achieved good results.
