Abstract.
In order to ensure the safety of the cable, an accurate, fast and convenient measurement of tension in cable is needed in engineering.
A new non-destructive method on the measurement of tension in cable is innovatively proposed in this paper, and then a confirmatory test is conducted to test and verify the validity, feasibility and stability of the method in engineering.
For the sake of popularizing and applying this method conveniently in engineering, it is necessary to carry out further research on the principles and submit a specific set of parameters or formulas.

Abstract.
In engineering, the friction pair of machine may be used in high temperature, wear resistant layer must have good tempering resistance.
It has been a problem that how the surface was quantitatively described in engineering.
