Conclusions In this paper, a reasonable digital modeling method is realized on the basis of real soil fabric and computed back analysis using finite element method is applied to study the thermal conductivity of soil, conclusions are as follows: The typical idealized calculation models of thermal conductivity for porous materials may be not suitable for the precise prediction of the thermal conductivity of soil.
