We analyzed the data, identified the pattern, and have used it to make predictions or decisions to keep the deviation within control limits.

An optical pyrometer and a thermocouple were used measure and record
the time-temperature data of the front and the unattacked back surface of the specimens.
On examination of the data presented in Table 1, it is clear that the ZSS composite possesses the highest values of hardness (21.2 GPa), flexural strength (520 MPa) and fracture toughness (7.8 ± 0.6 MPa√m).
The data for ZrB2 is from Ref. 21.
This may be because of the marginal decrease in co-efficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the matrix on addition of ZrC, and reduction in the mismatch between the constituent phases.
Reduction in the CTE is expected to improve the thermal shock resistance of the composites.

By shifting the data segment step-by-step for whole trial, 5100 data segments are obtained.
Wavelet packet tool is used to analyze each EEG data segment [12].
Then AE and KC are calculated for all EEG data segments in five frequency bands respectively.

coefficient obtained through numerical simulation is higher than the existing experimental data due to
the ideal assumptions adopted in simulation.
After compared the experimental data with the existing formula, it was found that the average error of Lazarek and Black[6] formula is within 20% ; the relative error of Liu and Winterton[7] , Shah[8] and Kandlikar[9] et al. formula is within 20%.
By comparing the two sets of data, it is believed that the heat transfer coefficient increases as the channel size decreases.
This paper also shows the numerical simulation results of the boiling heat transfer coefficient in mini-channels with a width of 0.1mm and 1mm, and the trends of four sets of data are basically to be the same.

An imaging system based on the transmission and reflection modes in the terahertz (THz) region is developed by using a backward-wave oscillator (BWO) as source, a Golay-Cell as detector, and an oscilloscope as data acquisition unit.
The system software based on the oscilloscope is designed to control the object movement, and the capture and display of the continuous THz wave image data.
The data form the Local Area Network (LAN) of oscilloscope (Agilent DSO5052A) are acquired and stored by computer.
The automatic control process and data recorded by the oscilloscope are controlled by software designed for the imaging system.
The software is mainly composed of three modules, including the platform operation control module, the serial data processing module based on the Electronic Industry Association-Recommended standard-232 (RS-232), and the LAN interface data acquisition module.
