While for synthetic polymers such properties can be suitably modified and tailored during their synthesis, in the case of natural polymers, this can only be achieved changing their surface chemical structure or morphology.

INTRODUCTION The particles involved in cold spray process are typically micro‐structure (approximately 15‐50 μm).
A potential advantage of this process over thermal spray is the ability to generate dense coatings while retaining their feedstock material chemistry and phase composition.

Combined with electromagnetics, hydrodynamics and chemistry, MRF has been applied in optical machining.
The main reason of it comes from the higher line speed at the rim of workpiece with the increasing of displacement disturbs the flowing of MR fluid, the theoretical MR fluid polishing structure is broken, polishing abrasive could formally float on the surface of MR fluid, so the material removal rate decreases.

Using the method of quantum-and-chemical calculations we have previously shown[5,6] that sorption of ions in peat can be carried out as a result of formation of hydrogen bonds in water molecules included in the aqua-complex of hydrated ions, with oxygen atoms present in functional groups of peat and its structure.
