Polyurethane coatings possess various controllable properties make them advantageous for use in biomaterials, structural materials and other applications5-8.
The hard segments, composed of polar materials, can form carbonyl to amino hydrogen bonds and thus tend to cluster or aggregate into ordered hard domains, whereas soft segments form amorphous domains.
