Simultaneously, if the known sample is superposed with two sheet-metal materials, and because mediums with different properties in the material (such as air layer), now laser ultrasonic longitudinal wave signal can be gained as shown in Fig.1 (b), the target in this experiment is made by the above-mentioned sheet2 with the thickness of 2.5mm pressed ahead by the sheet1 with the thickness of 0.5mm, and air layer occurs between both of the metal sheets.

Abstract:It is found that the samples usually melt and even gasify in the magnetic driven high-speed flying plate experiments, which phenomenon goes against the investigation on materials’ equation of state (EOS).
It is negative for the study of material properties.
