Combined with the principal component analysis, Ronggen Yang and Mingwu Ren gives a new denoising method, and they show that this method is appropriate to multivariate signal denoising [10].
For instance, based on the wavelet analysis of vibration signals, Yang Shu-lian et al. developed a neural network based diagnostic framework for gearbox [17].
