Different parameters may affect mechanical properties of CFST columns such as slenderness ratio (λ), load eccentricity ratio (e/r, r = D/2) and fire proof coating thickness (a) are considered.
Based on the test of 48 stub columns, the principal factors affect the ultimate loading capacity such as peak temperature, peak temperature maintenance time and steel ratio were analyzed.
Damage coefficient of bearing capacity (kr) was defined and the main factors influencing kr were analyzed.
It was found that load ratio, slenderness and cross-section dimension are the major factors to affect the residual strength of CFST columns.
The mechanical properties of them after exposure to fire had also been studied.

Fillers play important roles in enhancing mechanical properties of NR latex films.
It was observed that tensile strength and tearing energy were affected by both factors listed.
Introduction It is well established that when reinforcing filler is added into rubber, the mechanical properties of the vulcanized rubber such as tensile strength, tear strength, crack-growth resistance and abrasion are enhanced [1].
However, when fillers are added into NR latex, the mechanical properties of the vulcanized filled NR latex film are lower than that of vulcanized unfilled NR latex.
Knotty tear phenomena observed on all samples tested showed that the samples prepared have good mechanical properties.

According to their works, the strength of spot-welds depends on several factors like structure and property of base metals, characteristics and configuration of the welds, size and geometry of the specimens, mode of loading, test conditions [3].
Aslanlar [4] has studied the effect of nucleus size on mechanical properties.
As any welding process RSW induces in the welded material structural changes that affect all the mechanical properties, including the material hardness in the welded zone.

The effects of sintering temperature on the phase, the morphology and the mechanical properties of Ti-Mo alloys were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and mechanical properties test methods.
In the powder metallurgical process, sintering process are the main factors that influence the mechanical properties of Ti-20Mo alloy.
Mechanical properties.
The results indicate that when the sintering temperature is 1300 ℃, the Ti-20Mo alloy has better mechanical properties.
(2) The mechanical properties of Ti-20Mo alloy were affected by temperature.

In addition, high arch dam reservoir basin deformation is a dynamic process of continuous change with time, and the affecting factors such as the water pressure is also in constant change.
In this dynamic process, with changes of the high arch dam reservoir basin deformation itself and their influence factors, the factors affecting the changes of high arch dam reservoir basin deformation will be altered.
The importance of each affecting factor is changing, and the weight distribution is a dynamic process.
Based on the above analysis, this paper adopts the analytic hierarchy process as an example to analyze the weights of the high arch dam reservoir basin deformation affecting factors [4].
If consider the larger boundary conditions of the dam foundation, then changes in the restraint properties is smaller for the stress and displacement of the dam and rock foundation.

And the flow channel and the flow quantity in the mechanical seal are studied, which will affect the heat transfer between the surface of the seal ring and the flush fluid.
Introduction The frictional heat generation at the interface of the rotating and stationary rings can significantly affect the mechanical seal’s performance and reliability.
In the paper, according to the mechanical seals’ characters of the aircraft engine: no special flush fluid equipment and the limited space etc, the flush rates and the flow channel in the mechanical seal are studied, which will affect the heat transfer between the surface of the seal ring and the flush fluid. 1.
Taking advantage of the axisymmetric property of the problem, the Navier-stokes equations of the seal chamber and the rings in cylindrical coordinates can be written as follows[6]: (1) (2) (3) Fig.1 Drawing of the mechanical seal installation.
Thermal deformation in a mechanical face seal.
