Curing temperature and air humidity are among the prominent external factors that contribute to the alteration of geopolymer properties.
These solutions were prepared 1 hour prior to the mixing process to prevent the excessive heat generated by sodium hydroxide dissolution from affecting the measurement of fresh geopolymer paste properties.
Analysis on the result of fresh properties test (setting time, workability) and hardened properties test (density, compressive strength, porosity and elemental composition) exhibit various correlations that justify the effect of polymerization of geopolymer precursors to the geopolymer properties.

The joint bonded by the pre-remelted samples displayed well diffusion, but the mechanical properties of the joint should be further enhanced.
After the heat treatment on pre-remelted joint sample at 860℃, the mechanical properties have been enhanced greatly.
The high temperature mechanical properties of full lamellar microstructure is much better than the other three types.
The grain refinement effect of laser treatment affects the mechanical properties and fracture morphology as well as promotes the diffusion of joint element.
Thirdly, the grain refinement by laser melting produces lots of equiaxed grains, the proportion of exuiaxed grain phase increased and made the heat affected zone change from FL microstructure to NFL microstructure which have poor mechanical properties.

Effect of various ENR contents on mixing torque together with mechanical and dynamic properties of the ENR-30/COPE blends was investigated.
Influence of the ENR contents on mixing torque, mechanical and dynamic rheological properties of the ENR/COPE TPNRs was investigated.
Mechanical properties of the ENR/COPE simple blends with various contents of ENR.
These results of G' and tan d were in agreement with mechanical properties, as discussed previously.

By considering increasing dynamic and static energies, the physical and mechanical properties are analyzed for each case.
This work aims to evaluate the effect of the multi-layer static compaction process on the enhancement of mechanical and physical properties of RE walls. 2.
The results of the mechanical and physical properties are summarized in Table 5, which shows that SCP requires less energy than DCP.
More generally, the optimal MCP depends on many factors including the soil type, its water content, and the load rate.
The third advantage is the good mechanical properties obtained for these blocks.

Mechanical properties of nano-layered materials were simulated using molecular dynamics method.
The mechanical properties of thin films generated by the coating have been studied, and distinguished characteristics are found.
In this study, molecular dynamics modeling for the evaluation of the mechanical properties of nano-layered material [6] is presented.
The lattice mismatch is usually an important factor determining the interfacial properties, while the bond strength D also affects the mechanical properties of the composites, and hence the effects of the parameter D are focused in this study.

The efficiency of SHM systems is affected by important factors like the environmental and loading conditions, boundary conditions, and the structure of the real blade [23,24].
There are different factors which can significantly disturb the frequency estimates of the blade, like wind speed and temperature.
The material composition of the composite materials affects heavily the mechanical properties and the associated natural frequencies of the composite structure.
Table 2: Mechanical properties of materials composed the hybrid epoxy matrix.
The mechanical properties are evaluated using Mori-Tanaka theory of homogenization.

And the flow channel and the flow quantity in the mechanical seal are studied, which will affect the heat transfer between the surface of the seal ring and the flush fluid.
Introduction The frictional heat generation at the interface of the rotating and stationary rings can significantly affect the mechanical seal’s performance and reliability.
In the paper, according to the mechanical seals’ characters of the aircraft engine: no special flush fluid equipment and the limited space etc, the flush rates and the flow channel in the mechanical seal are studied, which will affect the heat transfer between the surface of the seal ring and the flush fluid. 1.
Taking advantage of the axisymmetric property of the problem, the Navier-stokes equations of the seal chamber and the rings in cylindrical coordinates can be written as follows[6]: (1) (2) (3) Fig.1 Drawing of the mechanical seal installation.
Thermal deformation in a mechanical face seal.
