Finite element analysis of rock bolt foundation in metallurgical industrial plant Mengxi Tan1b Hongbin Liu 2a 1 China University of Geosciences, beijing,China 2 School of Civil Engineering, University of Science and Technology Liaoning, Liaoning, China abinbinliu999@126.com, b441670016@qq.com, Keywords: Rock bolt foundation; Foundation design; Static load test; finite element simulation Abstract.
Bolt detector and theoretical calculation. It is difficult to confirm uplift capacity and deformation of the bolt in engineering, furthermore, body material, rocks around the bolt, geometry characteristics of interface and physical properties of the bolt also effect its mechanics.
In this paper, result of the theoretical calculation is in line with the deformation value performed by ANSYS, moreover, the safety of anchor bolt is verified that provides a valuable reference for practical engineering.
