Introduction Carbon materials were widely used as electrode for supercapacitors [1].
To improve the energy density, much effort had been exerted on developing composite materials [2].
Recent results indicated that PbO nanoparticles were active materials for batteries.
These results implied that nanosized PbO composited carbon materials would be advantageous in designing supercapacitor electrode materials.

Introduction Concrete and steel are two frequently used materials in the construction industry because of their specific characteristics regarding compressive and tensile strength.
Still, a good connection between both materials is essential to obtain a good structural performance of the composite structure.
