To investigate the geotechnical engineering properties of polluted soil, ten soil samples are collected from Anqing copper ore, Anhui Province, China.
The geotechnical engineering parameters of the polluted soil are measured in the soil mechanics laboratory.
Some scholars have studied the geotechnical engineering properties of the polluted soils.

Sustainability, bio-engineering and economy are the buzzwords of modern Geotechnical engineering practice.
Damage to Bunds and their Repercussions Today we find plenty of damage to these ancient structures as most people don’t comprehend that these are marvels of Ancient Civil Engineering.
These were kept safe and dry in polyethylene bags in the soil-mechanics laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering, Goa Engineering College and marked, indicating the soil description, sampling depth and date of sampling.
Civil engineers must look back and learn about the traditional eco-friendly construction practices followed by our ancestors to look forward for stable and maintainable development.
