Abstract:The objective of this investigation was to develop a test methodology to assess the
fatigue performance of cold patch asphalt mixtures, potentially usable in the field as a quality
control method. The methodology was developed by identifying the relationships between the
parameters from a Laboratory Fatigue Test (IDT,according to ASTM D4123 ), and the penetration
rate (NPR) from a lighter version of the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) at various
densification levels.
