Introduction Waterborne UV-curable resins are novel environmentally friendly materials.
In our previous research[4], waterborne lignin-based polyurethane (WLPU) was synthesized through a three-step reaction, which was a kind of water borne UV-curable materials.

Introduction Structural components and materials operate in several environment conditions which tend to have a great influence on the fatigue life [1,2], e.g. a gas turbine or an automobile engines, in which the temperature of combustion and the pressure of the fuel injection need to be raised in order to improve thermal efficiency [3,4].
The material was type 440 stainless steel.

The situation implies the use of the most modern materials and numerical simulations to help the design process.
Authors describe the methodology and give the results for a number of materials.
Full penetration is defined as penetration through panel’s material damaging the outer layer (material crack, rupture etc.).
It was chosen because not all material constants were obtained during material testing.
Material properties are shown in Table 5.

Natural biopolymers have advantages over synthetic biodegradable polymers in that they are renewable and pollution-free raw materials.
Furthermore, the appreciated processibility of modified starch makes it more suitable for large-scale production of biodegradable materials [7-8].
