The third one is utilizing mutil-scale approach to investigate the mechanical characteristics of nanocomposite by combining MD with continuum mechanics, in which the difficulty lies in the accuracy improvement of data transition among different scales.
The Bottom-up Simulation Method for Nanoparticle-reinforced Composites The bottom-up method is a kind of multi-scale method, in which the material data is transferred from the bottom (nano-scale) to the top (macro-scale).

(1) According to the experimental data statistics, fatigue deformation modulus reduction coefficient of the regression equation can be expressed as follows:
In the field of RC structure constant amplitude fatigue test, at present mainly focuses on the description of the phenomenon of experiment and data processing, the study of mechanism of fatigue, fatigue damage model is not enough thorough, only with a simplified calculation method for fatigue design, so the fatigue study also has a long way, to be rapid development.

The best description of the data presented in Fig. 3 is obtained by the series heterogeneous models when the resistance is described as the sum of metallic (MWCNT are regarded as metallic conductors) and barrier portions of the conduction path [6-9], (1) where a means the temperature coefficient arising from metallic conductance and the second term (hopping/tunneling term) represents fluctuation-induced tunneling through barriers between metallic regions.
As follows from Fig. 3, Eq. 1 describes conductance data very well.
An obvious effect of the supporting polymer is a reduction of the temperature dependence of conductance.
