The polishing pad is one of the most important consumable materials: when the wafer is polished, the pad surface asperity changes.
Introduction Progress in science and technology depends substantially on innovations from the semiconductor industry.
Recently, it was found that the material removal rate during polishing is affected by the actual contact conditions between the wafer and the polishing pad [1].
The polishing pad is one of the most important consumable materials: the polishing pad surface asperity has a substantial influence on the actual contact conditions.

Optimum design of Swing Arm Brackets are carried out by changing materials and dimensions.
After simulating analysis, it can be seen that the lightweight design for out-bracket have better effect through cutting out materials rather than changing its materials.
The results of this optimization may conserve materials and reduce energy consumption.

In this method, the metal parts are heated to a plastic condition and are pressed together to make the successful welded joints without filler materials.
EXPERIMENTAL DETAILS 2.1 Materials The experiment was conducted by commercial Copper Tube to AL 2025 Tube Plate.
The mechanical behaviour of materials will be varied as per the amount of load was applied to the specimen.
By Optimization, one can get clear values for manufacturing the materials [11].

Including both the different strength in tension and compression and the contribution of intermediate principal shear stress on the material strength, the unified solution for sheet forming is gained based on Yu’s unified strength theory, which can be reasonably applied to a wide range of materials.
(3) where, st is the tensile ultimate strength of material, sc the compressive ultimate strength, to the shear ultimate strength, a the tension-compression-ratio, varying from 0.77 to 1.0 for ductile metal material, 0.33 to 0.77 for brittle metal material, and generally less than 0.5 for geotechnical materials, B tension shear ratio, and b participation factor of intermediate principal shear stress.

Test materials for investigation are carbon/epoxy laminated composite materials with fiber direction; [0˚]8, [0˚/45˚]4s, [ 0˚/90˚]4s, [ 0˚/45˚/90˚]3s and [ 0˚/45˚/-45˚90˚]2s.
In many cases, composite materials have superiority over metals.
Damage by an impact takes the form of delamination of materials, and the rupture of fibers and/or layers; it could be a permanent change in materials even if damage is limited to a partial area.
Temperature and Pressure cycle to manufacture composite materials.
