Results and Discussion The chemical structure of the new platinum(II) polyyne polymers P is shown in Scheme 1.
Conversion of the dibromide derivative to its corresponding diethynyl congener can be readily achieved following the typical organic synthetic protocols for alkynylation of aromatic halides.[5] The Pt alkynyl compound P were prepared by the Sonogashira-type dehydrohalogenation between the diethynyl precursor and suitable platinum chloro precursor.[3] Dinuclear complexe M consisting of a well-defined structure was also made to serve as good molecular model system to investigate the spectroscopic and photophysical properties of the corresponding polymer.

With the improvement of analytical chemistry methods, especially the development of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS), more and more PPCPs have been detected and determined in environment [2-4].
Compared to MWCO, MW and desalting degree, molecular size and structure of organics and membrane pore size can predict the rejection of PPCPs by NF/RO membranes more precisely.
Molecular structure, such as the number of methyl, is an important parameter for predicting the removal effect of neutral compounds, and the more methyl there are, the higher the removal efficiency will be [24].
