Evens et al. [2] reported that 3D printed moulds with conformal cooling channels have a shorter start-up time and injection moulding cycle time as compared to conventional moulds that utilised straight cooling channels.
Bai et al. [5] deduced that these microstructural defects were the source for crack propagation, and were detrimental to the mould’s mechanical properties.

N,N’-diphenyl-N,N’-bis(1-naphthyl)-1,1’-biphenyl-4,4″-diamine (α-NPD) was used as a hole transporting layer (HTL) and 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (BPhen) as an electron-transporting layer (ETL) beneath a LiF/Al cathode.
The current density-voltage-luminance (J-V-L) characteristics and electroluminescence (EL) spectra were measured and recorded by a testing setup comprising of a Keithley 2400 source-meter and a Minolta PR-6500 spectrometer.
Figure 1 shows the proposed energy diagram of the Device A having the structure of ITO/α-NPD(28 nm)/TCTA(5 nm)/EPH31(2 nm)/EPH31:10%PYD01(10 nm)/EPH31(5 nm)/Bphen(25 nm)/LiF/Al.
To further improve the power efficiency, we have fabricated Device B with a structure of ITO/α-NPD(28 nm)/TCTA:5%RD(2 nm)/ TCTA (3 nm)/EPH31(2 nm)/EPH31:10%PYD01(10 nm)/EPH31(5 nm)/Bphen(25 nm)/LiF/Al.
Device A and B exhibit the same EL spectral shape with an identical peak wavelength (see the inset of Fig. 2).

Epoxy resins reinforced with unidirectional high-strength glass fibres are frequently studied, but Jacobs et al. [3] did not notice better wear resistance compared to neat epoxy.
According to (a) (b) El-Tayeb et al. [5] studying glass fibre laminates, high coefficients of friction for 0° orientations are due to the exposure of fresh fibres to the counterface and low coefficients of friction for 90° orientations are due to the entrapment of soft matrix material in between the fibres oriented perpendicular towards the sliding surface.
It was noticed by Quintelier et al. [6] that 45° glass fibre orientations provide highest friction.

The elements such as Al and Ti react with the adsorbed oxygen and form their highly stable oxides (Al2O3 and TiO2) at the powder particle surface.
It can be seen from the above table that the yield strength (YS) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS) values of the as-HIPed alloy are higher than those of the hot rolled bar, but the elongation (EL) and reduction of area (RA) are comparable lower.
