Abstract: A enviromentally friendly solid chemical cleaner is made from citric acid, sulfamic acid, polyasparticacid, sulfourea and accessory ingredient. The performances of corrosion inhibition and biodegradability of cleaner are studied by the static hanging piece and shaking-bottle incubating test. The corrosion inhibition mechanism of cleaner is studied by potent iodynamic polarization and the corrosion testing piece is observed by means of SEM.The results show that the cleaner has good corrosion inhibition performance on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper
