Introduction A lot of scientists are closely connected with the studies of the green composite materials properties.
Wood plastic composites (WPC) are ones of them, because WPC are perspective and widely used materials in different branches of industry [1-3].
These materials not only have better mechanical properties, but also water resistance, barrier properties and fire resistance.

Preface FuSeM 2009, the first conference in the "Functionalized and Sensing Materials", is an international event to be held in Bangkok, December 7-9, 2009.
It is mainly organized by Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Silpakorn University (MSE) and is also organized in association with Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University (PPC).
FuSeM 2009 conference covers three days in ten topics: Functionalized and modified Polymers, Functionalized and modified Technical Textiles, Functionalized and modified Rubbers, Petrochemicals, Catalysis, Semiconductors, Advanced ceramic materials, Biomaterials, Pharmaceutical materials and Sensor and actuator materials.
FuSeM has become a center providing a scientific platform for both local and international materials scientists, engineering and technologists, with the participation of more than 200 delegates including Key-note and invited talks, both Oral and Poster presentations.
In order to ensure high quality of work and presentation by researchers, the Proceeding of many of the FuSeM 2009 Sessions will be published as Special issues of reputed international Journal with guest editors chosen from the organizing committees and after the due process of refereeing.

TerraZyme is a completely different and new material for constructing road compared to the traditional road construction materials.
With the development of road construction, the demand for road construction materials such as sand and rock is increasingly large, thus, it leaded to be poor in natural resources.
Selection of raw materials
(5) Compared to the traditional road construction materials such as cement stabilized sand, the advantage of TerraZyme solidification soil is high strength, low cost, simple and convenient construction, high stability and no pollution, thus, it can replace the traditional solidification materials.

Introduction In recent years, composite materials have been widely used in engineering with the development of science and technology and the needs of engineering.
Its layer materials are considered as orthotropic materials.
In the numerical calculation, we take on the symmetrical cross-ply ,and each layer materials make form of the carbon fiber epoxy resin.

These operating parameters are derived from the mechanical properties of the material: strength and plasticity.
Simultaneously developed mathematical model of the process will allow elementary to assign processing modes for new materials that are not yet processed by this method.

Combining the advantages of the two materials is expected to have outstanding comprehensive properties.
Consequently, the crux of the flexural analysis is how to find the moment and the curvature using Navier’s three principles of stress equilibrium, strain compatibility and stress–strain relationships of materials.
For a bending member with materials that satisfy Hooke’s law, plane cross-section assumption, the bending process of concrete flexural members reinforced by S-BFCB is similar with the ordinary RC member.
