For instance, implants in load-bearing applications or those exposed to impacts, such as bone fixation devices, require materials that can absorb significant amounts of energy without fracturing.
In addition to similar behavior in the elastic zone of deflection for the same type of materials and thickness, respectively, brittle fracture was observed for all specimens, regardless of thickness.
The PLA specimens present a higher impact force if the PETG specimens permit a greater deflection, but the IZOD impact strength values for both materials are similar [16].

Microwave technology can be used for joining different materials, but being a special process, the current researches have been focused on joining dissimilar materials like copper with steel.
The base materials were joined using a slurry from Ni powders mixed with 20 wt% epoxin resin.
The pressure bars has the role for creating pressure on the top electrode in order to achieve the bonding of the base materials.
Also, the active hot plate must be realized from materials with high conductive of heat properties such as aluminium.

The effect of maleic anhydride concentration and type of raw materials were investigated.
Experimental 2.1 Materials The natural rubber (STR5L) and the skim rubber block were donated by the Rubber Estate Organization, Thailand.
FTIR spectra of theses raw materials are shown in Figure 2.
FTIR spectrum of STR5L, skim rubber and DPSR From the figure, an obvious difference of these 3 raw materials is at the characteristic band around 3200-3600 cm-1.
