Hence, we should systematically and deeply analyze and investigate the existing knowledge organization system in the field of interdisciplines, clearing the relationships between it and the related disciplines, strengthening the research and accumulation of multi-discipline knowledge, further determining and perfecting the object, category and areas of the discipline, and trying to reconstruct the knowledge system of the discipline for making its internal structure more reasonable.
Principles and Methods for Ontology Construction Researchers on the development experience of respective systems have proposed different methods to construct ontology, and got some construction principles and methods for different application requirements in practice, such as “KACTUS” method applied to knowledge modeling ; “TOVE” method employed in enterprise modeling; “SENSUS” method based on natural language processing technology to create ontology; “METHONTOLOGY” method applied to the knowledge in the field of chemistry; “IDEF5” method using abstract graphics and concrete descriptive language for the ontology construction; “Skeleton” method applying the abstract guidance for ontology construction; “Seven Steps” method for domain ontology building which is more mature [3].
