School of Civil Engineering, Lanzhou jiaotong University, lanzhou 730070,CHINA; E-mail: 1 zhangyong_L@126.com; 2 Litian_bao@163.com Keywords: group pile foundation; Pushover analysis; soil resistance; nonlinear Abstract: Soil is a strong non-linear media and show obvious nonlinear under the small displacement of the foundation.
It is specified by pile foundation design code of port engineering that the m-method applies only to the situation that the maximum value of horizontal displacement of soil in the ground is not more than 10 mm.
In practical engineering applications, the p-y curve can be measured and also can be chosen from the standard p-y curves according to the characteristics of foundation soil.

The operating resistance caused by digging soil is the major power cost of the machinery system, and how can reduce the operating resistance is a key problem concerned by engineers.
Based on the different demands and purposes of engineering, there are many constitutive model of soil have been presented, such as Lade-Duncan model, Cambridge model, Max-Well model, and so on.

Introduction Currently, steel-concrete composite box beam has been widely used in bridge engineering and hydraulic engineering.
Considering the engineering request and practice, referring to the steel structure design code, the experiment designed three prestressed steel-concrete composite box beams, which were numbered from PCB-51 to PCB-53.
