Abstract: Dinh An Estuary is one of Bassac River’s estuaries as a part of the Mekong delta.
Four individual options were scope and the base requirements for engineering investigations undertaken.
This represents a “soft-engineering” solution, an important alternative to - often more costly - structural solutions such as rock armour or concrete walls [6].
Flexible and mobile operations of dredging should be incorporated in addition to construction of hard-engineering.
When a hard-engineering option is need, the option 2 should be selected for the regulation in the navigation channel.
