Dynamic Tests of Energy Dissipation Structure with Unconsolidated Conical Bearings Qiaorong Yang1, a, Lingzhi Zeng2,b and Yan Guo1,c 1 Civil Engineering Department of Shanghai University, China 2 Shanghai Precision Metrology and Test Institute, China a yangqr@aliyun.com, bzenglingzhi8@126.com, c guoyanyy@foxmail.com Keywords: unconsolidated bearing; compressive property; shaking table test Abstract.
Isolation technique is a passive control technique of effectively reducing seismic response [1], which is widely applied in engineering practice [2].
And sufficient damping to shock absorber device, which dissipates more seismic energy, is closed related to structural safety and normal use [3].So applying high damping materials with low cost and good energy dissipation capacity in engineering has great practical significance in reducing casualties and economic losses caused by earthquake.

As the permanent airport, there are many methods for reporting bearing strength of pavement, e.g., the airplane total quality report, the allowable load of a main landing gear of airplane, the load class number method (LCN), the airplane classification method, the load classification grade (LCG) can all be used to report pavement strength[2], the commonly recognized method is ACN-PCN method proposed by International Civil Aviation Organization.
Aiming at utilization requirement of evenness of asphalt pavement, each country in the world almost has made related codes and standards, in the Quality inspection and Evaluation Standards for Highway Engineering (JTG F80/1–2004)issued by Ministry of Transport of P.R.C., there are definite standard for evenness value of asphalt concrete topping of highway, and the stated inspection method is to continually inspect 100m (by roughometer) of each lane of whole line.

The specimens then were cast in square moulds obtained from the Civil Engineering department of the Hashemite University, Jordan.
All specimens were left to dry naturally for 10 days, and then one group was left at 25°C, whereas the rest of the three groups were placed in an induction oven (available at the Engineering Workshops at the Hashemite University) for five hours, and each group was heated to its target temperature (75, 100 and 125°C).
After the specimens were removed from the oven, compression tests were conducted on each specimen at the Strength of Materials Lab using the Tensile Testing machine at the Mechanical Engineering department at the Hashemite University, as seen in Fig 3.

Countries (Japan, USA, New Zealand, etc) conduct a large amount of researches and engineering applications in the field of seismic isolation and absorption and construct a batch of famous seismic isolation buildings that play a good role of seismic absorption under seismic record, such as: American California Relief Command Center, etc[1].
Therefore, marine engineering supporting and protecting measures shall continue to be taken into more considerations, such as construction of breakwater, etc.
