Engineering construction difficult, it is necessary to seek prompt technical support for the design unit, good design changes, let reinforced crowding the location of the protective layer, to improve the quality of construction. 4.2 Well before the construction of technical tests To some extent, the thickness of the protective layer of reinforced concrete on which the project environment has a strong sensitivity is different engineering environment requires reinforced concrete protective layer thickness will be different.
The installation of the template to be careful and cautious, do handle with care to avoid damage or cause shift of the pad. 4.4 The installation of the pad as an important part of control The concrete reinforced protective layer thickness control to strictly enforce the pad production and selection of the actual construction, engineering construction require the production of different specifications quincunx pad innovative "point of contact" alternative to the traditional "face contact . " Pad processing should be fine, as far as possible the production of high strength mortar or high-strength plastic molding, in order to effectively control pad geometry and strength.
Therefore, we should be in the construction of a protective layer as a weak construction site attaches great importance to strict control from the construction to the acceptance of the whole process, to avoid impact to the carrying capacity of the entire structural engineering because of the thickness of the protective layer failed to ensure that a member of the security normal to use.

Study on thawing settlement and its influenced factors of embankment in seasonal frost area PENG Li Yun1, a*, LIU Jian Kun2,b and TIAN Ya Hu2,c 1 Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Beijing 100044, China 2 Beijing Jiao tong University, Beijing 100044, China apengliyun@bucea.edu.cn, bjkliu@bjtu.edu.cn, cyhtian@bjtu.edu.cn Keywords: Thawing settlement.
The results not only supplement the thermodynamics system of frozen soil, but also had great value for its application in actual engineering of frozen area.
Thawing settlements investigation on railway embankments Soil in surface of the seasonal frost area thawed in spring because of the temperature raising induced the existing ice in soil thawing, caused a lot of damage in engineering.

On the Analysis of Damping in Elastic-plastic Inhomogeneous Beams Victor Iliev Rizov1, a * 1Department of Technical Mechanics, University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, 1 Chr.
Introduction The continuously inhomogeneous structural materials have been widely used in various applications in nowadays engineering.
Damping in continuously inhomogeneous materials is of great interest for practical engineering since the behaviour of structural members and components under cyclic loading depends on the degree of damping.
The present analytical study is motivated also by the fact that the continuously inhomogeneous materials are applied very often in load-bearing engineering structures subjected to cyclic loading.
