Introduction Polyurethane materials have been generally used in the automobile, paint, furniture, and textile industries and also in biomass foam incorporated with renewable raw materials[1~3].Waterborne polyurethanes(WPU), as non-toxic and non-flammable materials, have been abundantly used as environmental friendly coating and adhesives show an excellent range of properties[4].However, under solid content remaining unchanged, drying rate of waterborne polyurethanes(WPU) is slower than that of solvent-based polyurethanes due to latent heat of evaporation of water is higher than one of organic solvent, which can not meet fast-paced modern production line of requirement.
Experimental Materials The diisocyanate used was toluene diisocyanate (IPDI, 98% purity, supplied by Shanghai Chemical Co.

Numerical investigation for evaluation and prevention of casting defects in TiAl alloys Ildiko Peter1, a *, Mario Rosso1,b and Ilaria Forno1,c 1 Politecnico di Torino, Department of Applied Science and Technology Institute of Science & Engineering of Materials for the Innovative Technologies, Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24, 10129 Torino, Italy aildiko.peter@polito.it, bmario.rosso@polito.it, cilaria.forno@polito.it Keywords: Ti-Al alloys, numerical investigation, casting defects.
For the calculation of the temperature field in the casting system, all the involved materials have to be appropriately described: i.e. density, specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are required for all the thermally involved materials (metal alloy, mould and cores material).

The low degradation efficiencies in single and codoped TiO2 can be best explained by looking into the formation of crystal phases structures for both bare and metal-modified TiO2 materials.

With this method, the surfaces of difficult-to-machine metal materials can be abraded up to mirror-like surfaces.
This fact concludes that the magnetic-abrading process does not suit to abrading metal materials that cannot be magnetized.
Adaptability to the difficult-to-machine materials: The magnetic-abrading process relies on “soft brushes” made by free magnetic abrasives to abrade surfaces of the workpiece, and it is of low abrading efficiency for the materials of high toughness, high strength or high hardness.
In abrading difficult-to-machine materials, it is of high efficiency.
