Value of applied materials in sustainable products design.
Sustainable development design should consider materials used by industrial products.
It should meet the needs of the product function with materials which are close to nature most, harmless to human body and energy saving.
The consequence which progress of science and technology brings inevitably achieves a purpose of extending life cycle of products, saving energy and materials.

- study the rate of sorption of lead ions by raw materials and biochar
Materials and Methods The biochar was produced by pyrolysis at 300 and 500°C, and by microwave pyrolysis at 230°C.
According to the results obtained (Table 1), the modified forms of raw materials demonstrate higher sorption rates compared to plant materials, which can be explained by differences in chemical composition, surface properties, and other characteristics.
Dependence of residual lead ion concentrations on incubation time on raw materials and biochar samples: on raw materials (a), on biochar-300 (b), on biochar-500 (c), on biochar-MW (d) in 0.1% lead ion solution.

Test Materials and Schemes The 0.05mm thick industrial cold rolled pure titanium TA1 foil was selected as the test material.
The materials in Fig. 4(b) and Fig. 4(c) are softened by annealing, the grain size is uniform, the plasticity is good, and the orange peel structure disappears, but the surface of the materials is deeply distorted.

Introduction The growth of populations and global industrialization has resulted in the production of large amounts of waste materials.
Most of the waste materials do not degrade when disposed into the natural environment, and therefore the pollution caused by them are of great concern worldwide.
Research institutions in many countries are engaged in finding effective ways to reuse these materials.
The experimental work was completed at the Transportation Materials Research Center at Michigan Technological University, which maintains the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) accreditation on asphalt and asphalt mixtures.

The paper proposed a dynamic optimization method, which aimed at maximization of material removal rate.
And the maximum of material removal rate, 81 mm3/s, was obtained.
But the material removal rate obtained by PSO is 81(mm3/s), which verifies the PSO under the condition of chatter-free.
