The influence of braid angle on the longitudinal tensile strength is remarkable and the corresponding strength has a reduction of 74% when the braid angle varies from 20° to 50°.
The results obtained from the numerical model showed a good agreement with the experimental data.

Because the soil particles with bigger pore, a part of salt crystallization is absorbed in the pore structure, a part of salt crystallization destroy the soil particle structure and fell into the pores, which lead to the characteristic of soil volume reduction in the cooling initial stage.
The test data shows that for the cement concrete pavement and asphalt concrete pavement, their allowable salt expansion is respectively 2cm and 4cm, and salt expansion depth is respectively 2.0m and 2.5m, then their allowable salt content is respectively 2.1% and 1.9%.
