Abstract: An experimental study was made of the mechanical properties of large scale confined concrete subjected to the axial compression test.
Hence, further study on confined concrete has significant engineering value.
The test was carried out, under uninterrupted monotonic load, on a 40000KN mechanical press in the Engineering and Structure Laboratory at the Beijing University of Technology.
