Abstract.
The mullite-corundum refractory materials with well-dispersed needle-like mullite formed in-situ were prepared.
Secondly, calcined bauxite and Suzhou kaolin, the raw materials of the sintered materials, were weighed, wet grinded, dried and then sieved by 120 meshes.
Finally, the grinded and sieved raw materials of the sintered material and the granulated precursors of mullite whisker were weighed respectively and mixed uniformly according to the designed mass ratio of 7:3.
