Materials of thermocouple cannula are mainly Cr18Ni9Ti, 0Cr25Ni20 and 1Cr25Ti stainless steel.
These materials are suitable for application at moderate temperature and their service life in CFB boiler is too short because of the severe working condition.
New materials with superior abrasion-resistance should be devised to improve the performance of thermocouple cannula.

Conventional metal, concrete and fiber-reinforced polymer are usually used as the materials for the roadside structure.
It can be seen from Fig. 2 (b) that under the force, non-crystalline materials [8] distorted and oriented along the force direction, while the deformation was restricted by the crystalline regions around.
The porous UHMWPE was a promising roadside safety material.
