In these fields, the flame retardancy requirement of materials is very high.
During heating process, IFR agent generates a cellular charred layer on the surface of the material, which protects the underlying material from the action of the heat flux or flame and limits the diffusion of combustible volatile products toward the flame and of oxygen toward the polymer.
