Introduction Porous silicon (PSi) has attracted much attention in recent years because of its intense visible photoluminescence (PL)[1, 2] and generated a new insight in a large number of application areas, such as silicon devices[3], chemical and biological sensors[4-6], and energy conversion [7, 8].
