Abstract.
In 2003, Kim [6] proposed a method to determine the required supplemental damping ratio based on target roof displacement which is, however, not so easy to master for most domestic engineers.
The results show that the method is reliable and can provide a reference for structural engineers.

Abstract: For micro-fiber reinforced strain-hardening cementitious materials, in addition to the
basic characteristics and mechanical properties of fiber and interfacial properties between fiber and
matrix, mechanical properties of matrix such as strength and crack resistance are essential
parameters for material design, too.
Introduction Concrete is an essential material widely used in civil engineering, however, due to the brittleness and poor crack resistance, the integral failure of concrete structure and durability problem have been major research topics for many years.

Abstract.
Fans have been engineered and manufactured to provide flow capacities comparable to those specified for fixed or mounted stairwell pressurization systems.
The model is public domain software available from the NIST website, making it a frequently used design tool by fire protection engineers.
FDS is specifically designed with fire scenarios in mind and can be readily applied to fire protection engineering applications.
