SD and MD exist with similar χfd ,which is χfd <2%[11].Natural soil-forming processes can produce ultrafine superparamagnetic particles(SP), which have the particularly high and frequency dependent magnetic susceptibility[10,12].χfd can be used to separate soils with susceptibility enhanced by anthropogenic sources from those pedogenically enhanced using χfd.Some works attempted to identify atmospherically-derived pollution particles in English topsoils and made an initial definition of “polluted” topsoils on the basis of χfd values< 3% (non-SP grains) and χlf values > 38×10−8 m3/kg (median for the English topsoils[10,13].Frequency magnetic susceptibility in Table 1 averaged at about 5% which refer to magnetic particles pedogenesis mainly come from anthropogenic sources other than nature sources.
