In the surface of graphite electrode, the in-situ synthesized high temperature antioxidation composite coating is prepared, depending on argon arc cladding and the raw materials of Si and B4C powder.
In the oxidation process, coating generates CO and CO2 gaseous materials such as to escape will make many holes on the cladding layer.

Introduction During the last decade, rare-earth system (AB5-type) and zirconium-titanium-vanadium system (AB2 Laves phase-type) hydrogen storage alloys have been widely used as negative electrode materials for the commercial production of Ni-MH batteries [1,2].
Experimental Nano precursor powders were prepared by the sol-gel method using lanthanum nitrate (La(NO3)3·6H2O) analytical grade) and magnesium nitrate (Mg(NO3)2·6H2O analytical grade) as starting materials, distilled water as solvent and citric acid (C6H8O7·H2O) as chelating agent.
