Introduction; In the process of highway engineering construction, The base course of road surface use large mixture.different road construction area put different material on use.Material selection is mainly based on considering the engineering geological condition and economic benefit. The soil behaviour of ZhangWu region is anemoarenyle.through the analysis of the physical and engineering properties, the anemoarenyle’s quality is not good. However using other methods to construct the base course of road surface can’t satisfy the economic indicators.

Introduction Conventional engineering analysis involves the determination or prediction of a structure's responses under loading using material parameters measured in experiments.
A tremendous amount of information is therefore available for performing reverse engineering, allowing more complex material properties to be determined using a single experiment.
From past experience, the predicted stresses are not very sensitive to the choice of Poisson's ratio for typical engineering materials, i.e. ν ≈ 0.2.

Defect detection in seven-wire steel strands using single magnetostrictive transducer with two-layer coil Liu Zenghua a, Zhao Jichen b, Wu Bin c , He Cunfu d College of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology, Beijing University of Technology, Ping Le Yuan 100, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China a liuzenghua@bjut.edu.cn, bzhaojichen@emails.bjut.edu.cn, cwb@bjut.edu.cn, dhecunfu@bjut.edu.cn Key words::::ultrasonic guided waves; magnetostrictive transducer; coil; steel strand; defect Abstract::::In order to achieve active health monitoring of seven-wire steel strands, single magnetostrictive transducer with two-layer coil is developed and applied for the excitation and reception of ultrasonic longitudinal guided waves simultaneously.
Introduction There is currently widespread use of steel strands for a variety of civil structures such as prestressed steel strands in concrete buildings, stay cables in cable-stayed and suspension bridges.
No matter considering installation convenience or cost effectiveness, it is necessary to reduce the number of used transducers for meeting the engineering requirements.
