Their accuracy is limited by a number of factors that have much smaller effect on prediction of creep and shrinkage of concrete of ordinary grade than in the case of UHPC.
In practice, using water to cement ratio of w/cmin can not lead to full hydration of all present cement due to drying creep and that bigger cement grains would not be fully hydrated.

Oxygen molecules adsorbed on the triple phase boundaries of SSC-RuO2-O2 gas, easily react with the electrons supplied from RuO2 and the formed oxide ions diffuse along the grain boundaries between SSC and RuO2 [2].
When the parallel circuit shown in Fig. 2 is assumed for the cell in the open circuit condition, VOCV is expressed by Eq. (2),       −= N P NiOCV E IR 1E t V (2) where EN is the voltage calculated by Nernst equation, ti the oxide ion transference number, RP the resistance of electrode and I the internal short circuit current.

Amongst a considerable number of reinforcements, those based on zirconia (ZrO2), both in the form of powders and fibres, are one of the most interesting.
Grain size slightly changed with increasing sintering temperature, sintering proceeded and pore size and porosity decreased.

The quality of a machined surface is affected by a number of factors [1, 2] which include tool geometry, feed rate, material properties, spindle rotational errors and relative vibration between tool and workpiece as summarised.
The anisotropy of surface finish could be explained by the dependency of Young's modulus of single crystal on the grain orientation.

NC is the number of bridging oxygen atoms (BO) per network forming element.
SBF has ion concentrations similar to those of human blood plasma. 75 mg of glass powder (grain size < 38 µm) were immersed in 50 mL of SBF at pH 7.25 and placed in a shaker at 37 °C for various time periods.

Images of four speckle patterns captured on samples undergone magnetron sputtering using configuration number (a) I, (b) II, (c) III and (d) IV.
The DIC results in Fig. 3 reveals that the image shows good contrast on the surface of the test sample, and the grain morphology was visible after the speckle pattern was applied on sample (Fig. 3(a)).

CNT is a seamless tube in which a honeycomb-structured layer is rolled into a cylindrical shape, and depending on the number of carbon layers, CNT can be classified into single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) and multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT).
The vacuum condition can prevent or limit the oxidation and the fast heating rate along spark and plasma condition can suppress coarse growth of formation phases and crystal grains [7-10].

· To ensure hydraulic stability of the material or mixture, the used sand should maintain specific properties for grain size distribution where such properties are essential for stopping leaching of bentonite for the skeleton [24].
A number of materials have been used for landfill capping system represented by industrial waste sludge, clay, silt, and sand.
