In the water transportation,the Ministry of Communication issued the "environment impact assessment standard of port" in 1994, then established "design code for port's environmental protection " compiled by Second Harbor Engineering Investigation and Design Institute(SHEIDI).Port construction unit implemented and executed the environment impact assessment system and"3 same times" system, and controled the new pollution sources and the destruction of the impact on the environment effectively, meanwhile, created a traffic environmental protection team with thousands of people.
