The sensor model in the Fig. 1 is the basis of biologically inspired acoustic sensor because piezoelectric materials such as PZT, PVDF attached to the inner or outer part of the cantilever beam can generate electrical signal.
The apparatus, which is installed on a flat optical table, consists of a sound source generator, duct, cantilever beams with PVDF films, sound absorbing materials and supporting structures.
,G and are sound absorbing materials and air layer to eliminate the acoustic wave reflected from the right end of the duct.

In particular, the final layout, Fig 9, appears to furnish person-centricity because of the following features that unfold: it effectively allows people to use machines to process materials; it requires a minimum movement of people and machines; it provides for the sequential flow of materials as they move through processing steps; it gives workers a safe work environment that meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards; and finally it is flexible and easily changed.

Storage materials are the early example of adaptive materials.
A variety of self-healing materials have been developed: materials with embedded healing agents, microvascular materials with a kind of internal vascular circulation, shape-memory materials and reversible polymers.
Building envelope design draws from all areas of building science.

Due to its resorbable feature and excellent osseoconductive properties, ß-TCP has been found wide use in bone cements and implant materials [6]. ß -TCP can be prepared by solid state reaction at high temperature and chemical methods.
Jatcho and Bolen [7] prepared ß-TCP with Ca (NO3)2 and (NH4)2HPO4 as the raw materials.

This has raised a great interest in hybrid gate materials, such as ferroelectric ceramic/polymer nanocomposites.
Therefore, the use of fillers with good dielectric properties is imperative for achieving such composite materials.

For the case of fast cooling materials such as metals (high heat conductivity), the heat pulse has to be applied in a relatively short time [2, 3, 4].
For the case of slow cooling materials [1, 5, 6] such as GRP is (low heat conductivity), significantly cheaper equipment including heat source based on a Halogen lamp (e.g. 1 kW bulb on 1m distance and 2 min of heating) and long wave IR camera is enabling visualization of material anomalies such as fractures, delaminations, air pockets, as well as locating structural members and reinforcements.
